Mr. Chatree Chuenchomsakul, Managing Director, and Mr. Phusit Thepkliang, Deputy Plant Manager, participated in the royal offering ceremony, presenting golden and silver trays, and paid tribute in a ceremony honoring His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024. The event took place at the activity area of the Mabtapud Municipal Health Service Center in Rayong, and was attended by government officials, private sector representatives, and the local community.
Additionally, on July 23, 2024, a tree-planting event was held in honor of His Majesty the King at the reserve reservoir area of the Mabtapud Industrial Estate (Suan Luang Tia, Mabchalud community). This sustainability effort has been ongoing for five years, under the supervision of Mr. Chayapong Paseephon, Manager of the Synthetic Rubber and Latex Business Unit, Mr. Somkiat Boonsaksri, Manager of the Sustainable Development Department, along with employees, and representatives from the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Mabchalud Community Leader, Mabchalud-Shakklang Community Leader, and more than 30 community members. The Ruanphung tree, the symbolic flower of the 10th reign, was planted and is expected to bloom in July - August.
The initiative also included community development activities with local residents to demonstrate loyalty to the monarchy and to express gratitude for His Majesty's unparalleled benevolence. These activities aim to benefit the community, increase green spaces, move towards a low-carbon society, and maintain a healthy environment in Rayong for sustainable growth.
